St John's Parish 300 Club:
St John’s Parish New 300 Club invites you to join our long running lottery, which provides much needed funding for the various building maintenance projects throughout the parish.

In the past decade the 300 Club has donated to the parish in excess of £32,000, a sum much appreciated by Canon Liam, and has awarded £30,000 in prizes to members.

To maintain support for the parish, new members are needed to replace members who have moved away. There are many new families who have moved into the parish plus young adults whom we would warmly welcome as members to ensure continuance of the 300 Club.

You may join at any time and participate in the following monthly draw.

Good Friday Procession of Witness 2016
The annual pilgrimage from Bratton Village to Picquet Hill was an opportunity for reflection and worship as we remembered the events that culminated in Jesus’ crucifixion.

We were blessed with good weather as over 100 adults and children, plus many dogs, took part in the 2016 Pilgrimage. After meeting at the Baptist Church for drinks and hot cross buns we set off to carry a large cross to the top of Picquet Hill, stopping along the way for Bible readings, prayer and praise.

On the hilltop we erected the cross, and after a time of worship and reflection we were privileged to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation from this wonderful viewpoint. A number of pilgrims, who would not have otherwise have been able to take part, were transported along the route and to the hill top in 4WD vehicles.

Please consider joining us in 2017 for this healthy spiritual and social event.
