Making Village Music - Bratton Sings!
The information has now arrived from Wiltshire Rural Music School organiser Ben.
He says – Do you enjoy singing? Want to be part of an exciting new community singing group?
Bratton Sings! is a new community singing group for all ages and abilities. Following our two successful taster sessions we are now launching regular monthly sessions this autumn on Thursday evenings, at the Jubilee Hall, run by professional vocalist and choir leader Clara Atkins. You don't need any prior experience or be able to read music.
Time: 7pm - 8:30pm
Cost: £5 per session Pre-Book all 7 sessions for £30
Dates: 14th and 28th September 12th October 2nd, 16th and 30th November 14th December
Bratton Baptist Church are beginning a new venture: a drop-in café for a couple of hours a week. A place to relax with a cup of tea and a slice of cake; a place to meet up with friends on the way to pick up the children from school. If you need to chat, Allison and Bev will be glad to oblige. A friendly space in which to take a break from a busy day, to re-charge your batteries. If we can help in anyway, call in and we’ll do our best to support you. Leave a prayer card, so we can pray for you or come in simply for a time of solace and refreshment. We open for the first time on Monday 11th September, 2pm.
See you there.
